Islamic reminders for our children
Every Prophet was blessed with a beautiful face and a beautiful voice.
We discussed the hadith that every Prophet came with a beautiful face and a beautiful voice.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would pause between verses.
We spoke about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would pause with every verse when reciting the Qur’an, reminding us to recite calmly and beautifully.
Those who are merciful will be shown mercy.
We reflected on the hadith: “Those who are merciful will be shown mercy.”
Allah’s pleasure is the pleasure of our parents.
We discussed the importance of pleasing and respecting our parents, and that Allah’s pleasure is connected to their pleasure. Our parents’ pleasure is a means to Jannah.
Daily duas and Sunnahs.
We revised important daily practices, including:
- Entering the toilet with a dua
- Entering the house with the right foot
- Leaving the house with the left foot
- The dua when looking in the mirror
Every Sunnah is Noor (light).
We reminded the children that every Sunnah is a source of light and encouraged them to bring this beautiful Noor into their everyday lives.
May Allah help our children practise these beautiful teachings and make them a source of goodness and light. Aameen.
